Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour! (depending on related experience)
Nature of Work:
• The Support Professional provides a variety of activities and services in the Therapeutic Foster Care Program. The Support Professional provides casework activities, case management for youth and families, rehabilitative services, skill building, respite, and transportation for youth and families. This position also provides supervision to Resource Parents and a strong collaboration with the Local Departments of Social Services.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education or related human service field is required. Experience may substitute for field of study but not for minimum degree requirement. Advanced degrees preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of one year experience providing services to children with serious emotional disturbances and their families is required.
• Background Check: Must meet the requirements of the School Age Care, Day Care, and/or Mental Health Regulations regarding a State Central Register Clearance regarding history of abuse/maltreatment of children.
