Clinical Associates, a professional service of Pathways, Inc. provides a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Student Assistance Program (SAP), and individualized counseling and therapy for people of all ages and stages of life.

Assistance available in the following areas:

•    Marital, separation, and divorce issues
•    Behavioral, custody, and children issues
•    Panic and phobia concerns
•    LGBTQ concerns
•    ADHD, anxiety, and depression
•    Extended grief and loss
•    Eating disorders
•    Verbal, physical, and sexual abuse
•    Substance abuse assessment and referral

Support Services

Employee Assistance Programs
Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) are offered by employers as a benefit to employees and their families to provide confidential counseling and supportive services on personal or professional issues that may be impacting work performance. Additionally, these EAP services provide critical-incident stress management following traumatic workplace events and on-site training for employees on an array of topics that will positively benefit wellness and professional health.

Student Assistance Programs
Student Assistance Programs (SAP) provide on-campus, short-term counseling support and referral for individuals who may be struggling. Common concerns for SAP, include, and are not limited to, relationship or family issues, burnout, stress, difficulty with peers, health concerns, body image, LGBTQ concerns, balancing responsibilities, depression, anxiety, anger management, alcohol or substance use. 

Counseling Services
Our experienced and dedicated therapists hold advanced social work degrees and are able to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a variety of concerns.

Population and Geographic Area Served

The Clinical Associates program serves children, adolescents, adults, and families in Steuben, Chemung, and Cayuga counties through an array of services including Employee Assistance Programs, Student Assistance Programs, and Counseling Services.

Access to Services

EAP and SAP services refer individuals to a counselor based on employer, employee, or student need and location. Counseling Services are available to any individual in the community. With four locations, telehealth options, and extended hours, Clinical Associates is generally able to meet clients where and when it is most convenient for their needs. Most insurances accepted.
