Community Mental Health Worker: $20.00–$21.00 (depending on related experience)

Nature of Work:

The Community Mental Health Worker plays an important role in supporting children and youth with serious mental health challenges achieve success in their daily lives and communities. Support is also provided to the parents, caregivers and families to ensure meaningful engagement in services. Services may include outreach and education, advocacy, social skills and emotional regulation. These services are provided in home and community locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and two years of applicable experience in children’s mental health, addiction, and/or foster care or a related human services field or Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or in related human services field with one-year of experience in children’s mental health, addiction, and/or foster care.
     
  • Must clear the State Central Registry Clearance, Staff Exclusion List Clearance and OMH Criminal History Review for criminal convictions.
  • Must possess a valid/clear driver’s license and dependable vehicle.
