The Senior YSP provider provides community-based services to children and families who may have difficulty engaging in formal office settings, but can benefit from home and/or community based rehabilitative services. Provide a variety of activities that are designed to restore, rehabilitate, and support a child’s/youth’s developmentally appropriate functioning as necessary for the integration of the child/youth as an active and productive member of their family and community. Activities are “hands on” and task oriented.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field plus two years of applicable experience in children’s mental health, addiction, and/or foster care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in related field with one-year experience in children’s mental health, addiction, and/or foster care.
• Must possess a valid/clear driver’s license and dependable vehicle.
• Must clear the State Central Registry Clearance, Staff Exclusion List Clearance and OMH Criminal History Review for criminal convictions.
