Residential Services
The Residential Services programs offer a variety of 24-hour supervised home settings for children with severe emotional and behavioral difficulties and adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities. These programs include homes providing specialized services for individuals with Prader-Willi syndrome and Autism.
The homes are located in Bath, Canandaigua, Corning, Elmira, and Painted Post, New York. Each program offers a home-like setting fostering independence and providing the opportunity for personal fulfillment for individuals.
Each Residential Home Offers
- 24-hour staff supervision
- Person-centered, individualized services for each person
- Safe, inclusive home-like settings
- Assistance with activities of daily living
- Monitoring/maintenance of health and well-being of individuals
- Positive community integration and activities
- Provision of quality services to assist individuals to develop their own capabilities
Types of Homes
Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) - These are homes for individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities, including one home specializing in care for individuals with Prader-Willi syndrome.
Individualized Residential Alternative (IRA) - These are homes for individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities, including two specialized homes. One home provides services to individuals with Autism, and the other is for the care of individuals with Prader-Willi syndrome.
Community Residence (CR) - This is a home that provides care for individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities or youth with serious and persistent symptoms of cognitive, affective, and personality disorders.
