Pay: $22.00 to $24.50 (Depending on Education & Related Experience)
Sign-on Bonus for Eligible OMH Community Residence Positions
Full time positions are now eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus, $500 every 3 months for one year. Part time positions are now eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus, $250 every 3 months for one year. New hires, rehires, and transfers are eligible for this sign-on bonus. (ELIGIBLE POSITIONS: Supervising Senior Counselor, Senior Counselor, Counselor, Senior Counselor/Family Support Specialist, Recreation Specialist)

Nature of Work:
This position is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the program youth’s recreational programs.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services related field is required.
- A degree in Therapeutic Recreation and Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) credential strongly preferred.
- Requires a valid drivers’ license that meets insurability guidelines to operate agency-owned vehicles.
- Must meet the requirements of the School Age Care, Day Care, and/or Mental Health Regulations regarding a State Central Register Clearance regarding history of abuse/maltreatment of children and Criminal History Review for criminal convictions.
