Pathways, Inc. Announces 2nd Annual Trucks! Trucks! Trucks! Fundraiser for Childcare Programs

Corning, NY—July 15, 2019—Pathways, Inc., in partnership with T&R Towing and Service Centers, is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Trucks! Trucks! Trucks!  fundraising event to benefit the Agency’s childcare programs, Kids’ Adventure Club and the Erwin Child & Family Center. On Saturday, August 10, 2019, from 10:00 am–2:00 pm, the community is invited to attend Trucks! Trucks! Trucks!  held at Hodgman Park, 147 W. Water Street, Painted Post, New York.

The cost of admission is $5 per person (kids under 2 are free) or $20 per family. Tickets will be available at the gate the day of the event (cash only). Guests can expect to spend the afternoon getting up close to more than 30 vehicles like big construction trucks, fire engines, tractors, and police cars. As a special treat, weather-permitting, the Guthrie Air Helicopter will land at the park at 11:00 am, stay for the kids to explore, and then leave at 1:00 pm!

A fleet of food trucks will offer lunch and snack items, and fun activities will be offered by the Southeast Steuben County Library and the Boy Scouts of America. Watch at 10:30 am and 12:30 pm, as T&R’s 60-ton rotator will show off its lifting power while a T&R operator demos safe rigging for a lift. 

New this year:

• Goodrich Auto Works Kid Zone featuring many free activities, including a Fire Station bouncy house, activities offered by First Tee of Corning, and free face painting and crafts
• Children’s Bike Door Prizes, each child will receive one free ticket upon entry to the event
• Chilson-Wilcox Power Wheels® Raffle, tickets available for purchase during the event
• Guthrie Air Helicopter, weather-permitting will land at Hodgman Park at 11:00 am and stay until 1:00 pm

• Anita’s Pizza

All Trucks! Trucks! Trucks! proceeds will benefit Pathways, Inc. childcare programs. Funds raised will be used to support activities and programming, in addition to the purchase of new buggies, outdoor equipment, and picnic tables.
