An open heart and an open home
Therapeutic Foster Care

Our Therapeutic Foster Care Program is a community-based and family-centered program approved by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services. It serves youth in custody of their local Department of Social Services who have serious emotional, social, and behavioral issues and/or developmental disabilities in need of a therapeutic out-of-home placement. Resource Parents (certified foster parents) trained in mental health and developmental topics provide foster care to youths. Therapeutic Foster Care staff provide services to youths, siblings, and families to achieve permanency goals. This service is available in Rochester and the Southern Tier of New York State.
