September 8-12 is National Direct Support Professionals Week

The United States Senate has designated the week of September 8th as National Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Recognition Week in recognition of the many people that work in day services, residences, and other programs who provide personal supports and care for millions of individuals with disabilities and their families.

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are key to the success of Pathways, Inc. and the quality of services we offer to the people we serve. Pathways, Inc. joins many other agencies throughout the country in acknowledging and honoring this group of workers who enable people with disabilities to live more independently and lead dignified and productive lives in their community of choice. Be sure to say a special thanks to the DSPs in your life for their hard work and commitment.
