Conable House Community Residence for Children and Youth
The Conable House Community Residence, located in Bath, NY, is an eight-bed, co-ed residence, serving children ages 5-12 years who may otherwise be placed in psychiatric inpatient or residential treatment facilities. Services provided improve and enhance the social, emotional and functional behaviors of the children served while enabling them to live in a community-based setting, attend local schools and participate in the cultural and social opportunities of the area. The program staff works closely with the child’s family, supporting and engaging them in the treatment process. The Conable House is dedicated to reuniting the child with his or her family wherever possible, or returning to a more normative living environment in as short a time as possible. This program serves children from Steuben, Chemung, Schuyler, Yates, Ontario, Allegany and Seneca Counties and is licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health.
